Branding & Packaging: Bettys Christmas Campaign

I was absolutely thrilled to work on the Christmas 2024 packaging for the classic Yorkshire-based brand, Bettys.

Known for their craft bakery and beautiful tea rooms, the team at Bettys asked me to create illustrations for their Christmas range; including mince pies, Christmas puddings, gift bags and even an apron design.

As part of research for the project, I was invited to visit Bettys bakery and their Harrogate tea room. I got to meet the lovely team and sneak a peek behind the scenes, watching the talented bakers hard at work. The highlight was definitely getting to sample lots of their delicious baked goods and chocolates!

I thoroughly enjoyed creating the seasonal patterned frames, featuring lots of ingredients from their recipes, alongside the bakery itself.

Branding: Cornish Orchards Interview

My lovely agents The Artworks have a brand new website and to coincide, they've made a film on each of us, highlighting some of our favourite projects 🎬

Here's mine, where I'm discussing the Cider packaging I illustrated for Cornish Orchards and my process. I was commissioned by the fantastic Outlaw Collective and worked on this pre and mid pandemic. I'm talking very fast to fit everything in to under one minute!

Design and art direction by Outlaw, photography by Tom Skipp. Thank you to Jack at The Artworks for putting the interview and my illustrations and sketches together!

Branding: Curl Book & Coffee Shop

Here’s a lovely project I worked on earlier this year; branding for Curl Coffee and book shop in the Badaro neighbourhood of Beirut, Lebanon.

I was commissioned by founder and owner, Nisrine, to try to capture the beautiful exterior, interior and clientele of the shop. Working with architectural and design plans, I was thrilled to create the artwork and watch as the shop came together in real time.

My illustrations were used as a mural inside, on POS branding and on various products available in the store.

Every small detail was so carefully thought through by Nisrine, including the community ‘take a book, leave a book’ library, hanging from the tree outside. I particularly enjoyed illustrating Nisrine’s two wonderful dogs!

I really hope to visit Beirut and the shop on my travels in the near future! Thanks to Nisrine and my agents at The Artworks
